September is National Attendance Awareness Month, and School District U-46 is excited to kick off the school year with our Every Minute Matters campaign, centered on this year's theme: First Day, Every Day. To celebrate Attendance Awareness Month, all U-46 schools will participate in our first annual Districtwide Grade-Level Attendance Challenge! Throughout September, each grade level's weekly attendance will be tracked to see which grade level earns the highest attendance across the district. The challenge culminates in the recognition and celebration of U-46's top-performing grade level.
Here are the results from the first week of the All-District September Grade-Level Attendance Challenge!
Congratulations to the top 3 finishers from each grade level.
Week 1: September 8th
Gold - Third Grade
Silver - First Grade, Second Grade, Fourth Grade
Bronze - Fifth Grade
Check the Attendance and Absence Management page for winners from the previous week and other attendance resources.

Welcome back! Your Food Service crew is ready to keep our students (and you) fueled for a fantastic school year. From hearty breakfasts to energizing lunches, we're here to keep everyone powered up for success.
Attached you'll find our breakfast and lunch menus for August and September. Feel free to share them with students, families, or post them in your classrooms. If you have any questions or ideas for menu items, please don't hesitate to reach out - we love collaborating with you to make our program even better.
All of our students will eat breakfast and lunch for FREE again this year. Our goal is to feed every student that is in attendance. We will also be offering some ala carte snacks for purchase, but we will still be CASHLESS! Students will need to add money to their account at MySchoolBucks in order to make a purchase.
We love serving all of you and our students! Here's to a year full of learning, laughter and delicious meals.
Your Food and Nutrition Services Team,
Leticia. Kelli, Rosa, and Audrey.
